Rob started as commercial and management trainer in 1992. After 6 years his role changed to CCO and he was responsible for hiring and coaching new trainers. In that time the organisation grew more than 100%. He also developed several training programs in Leadership & Management, Project Management, Personal Effectiveness, Time Management, Negotiation Skills, Presentation Skills and Communication Skills. He executed numerous of these programs for Siemens, AB/Inbev, Cap Gemini and Perstorp Flooring. In 2004 he became CEO and co-owner. In 2010 his partners wanted to follow a different strategy. He sold his shares and left the company. At that time the organisation had 105 trainers and 10 employees and was leading in the Benelux area.

Funtech Sports & Gaming was specialized in buying and selling amusement equipment for the catering industry (bars, sports venues and leisure centers). Our main product, the electronic dartsmachines from Arachnid, was state of the art in the early 90's. Competition was played with smartcards and results and standings were collected by modem. Every league received them the day after. Other products were pool tables (Hazelgrove) and soccer tables (Garlando).Funtech Sports & Gaming was also participant in 2 other ventures: Laser Adventure Mol BVBA and Q-Zar Lasergames Valkenburg BV. Both leisure centers with catering and gaming facilities.
