I am currently studying sports management at Humber college, I have a deep love and passion for sports having played baseball for 10 years, I am very interested In modern day sports such as analytics, conditioning and most importantly, athletes mental health. Throughout my life sports has always been the one thing that I find myself extremely interested in, so I decided to pursue it as a career, after playing baseball for 10 years. I’ve been around sports for a long time and while playing, and a brief stint coaching, I always found myself able to connect and relate extremely well with athletes and noticed athletes enjoyed playing for me as well. I noticed certain things that players could improve on and was always able to effectively communicate this to them in ways they understood. My ability to work with and understand young athletes, will prove valuable while working with athletes at a professional level. I’ve always excelled with time management and organization. I am a great leader, I often find myself leading and communicating with my sports teams, relating to players and communicating my decisions, I also take the lead on many group assignments at school and often find myself doing a lot to help my peers do the best they can.I am a good leader, a vocal leader and a modern leader who is open to new ways to learn, lead and communicate and open to hearing different opinions. My goal is to not just work In the sports industry but to modernize it, to get rid of the negative stigma around modern day sports analytics and athletes and continue to help build winning environment for players, staff and fans that is also geared towards helping athletes acheive the absolute best version of themselves. I believe the sports world is getting younger with this comes new ideas. I would love an opportunity to work in a front office role that focuses on athlete development, I look forward to getting an opportunity to show what I can bring to an organization. I have spent my entire life playing, studying and analyzing how the sports world works and believe my wealth of knowledge would be an asset to anyone who extends the opportunity.
