Robert Bole led strategy for US international media, comprising of five separate media organizations that reach 218 million weekly audience in 60+ languages in over 100 markets. As the chief corporate strategy officer, he oversaw the formation and execution of BBG's global growth and development strategy encompassing its television, radio, digital and mobile platforms. Bole led a range of business operations for for BBG's media development by growing its 2,500 affiliate partnership, producing editorial and digital product innovation, which included social media, mobile and connected device platforms, providing research and data insights and performance review of both media and management activities. In his role, Bole is also led in the formulation and coordination of BBG's media and platform response to crisis, such as expanding Russian language television and digital programming and creation of an expanded Iraqi television and digital stream.He also played a key role in managing BBG's relationship within the US government and with foreign partners. Bole was the primary coordinator with the National Security Council, the State Department and other elements of U.S. foreign policy apparatus. He frequently briefed Congress on BBG activities and participates in budget and policy formation. Bole is also led BBG's relationship with international partners, such as the BBC, Deutsche Welle, as well as consulting with foreign governments on media and communications.
