Sales manager for storage and handling of fuel oil and crude oil at Vopak. Revenue portfolio of several tens of millions per year consisting of various short and longer term contracts. Business-to-business sales and after-sales account management with major oil producers and traders. Prices maintained in a declining market. Developed market outlook and investment proposal for significant asset upgrade.

Short term program management role to resolve urgent stench issues from heated fuel oil storage under significant pressure from authorities. Multi-million euro investment program on physical assets, implementing operational procedures, communications with authorities and customers. Governmental deadlines achieved, stench issues resolved.

Further enhancing the understanding of Vopak by the financial (equity) community in Europe and North America. Vopak contact for institutional investors and sell side analysts. International roadshows and conferences to explain Vopak’s business model alone or together with CEO/CFO.

Supporting Director COCIR and the Executive Board in their contacts with (potential) shareholders and sell-side analysts.

Financial control of two operating companies, investment analyses and efficiency improvements.

During my study Business Administration I worked 3/4 days a week at RPS BCC, a daughter of the UK-listed company RPS Group. I contributed to several engineering projects (construction of roads, bridges and sewer systems) and negotiated land use rights for public pipeline connections with land owners.

During my study Business Engineering I worked 3 days a week at SVO Consultants. Involved in projects like customer satisfaction research, company strategy assessments and ISO/NEN procedure implementations.
