I am a Principal Clinical Scientist at The Clatterbridge Cancer Centre NHS Foundation Trust, one of the UK's leading cancer centres, with over 10 years experience in radiotherapy physics. I lead and support the delivery of high-quality radiotherapy services to cancer patients, ensuring safety, accuracy, and efficiency. My core competencies include brachytherapy, dosimetry, and treatment planning, with a special interest in advanced techniques such as stereotactic radiosurgery (SRS), stereotactic body radiotherapy (SBRT), and ocular proton therapy. I am also skilled in image guided radiotherapy (IGRT) and clinical trials, and I have contributed to several research projects and publications in these areas. I am currently completing a Doctorate in Clinical Science as part of the Higher Specialist Scientific Training (HSST) programme, aiming to advance my knowledge and practice of radiotherapy physics and to improve the outcomes and quality of life of cancer patients.
