I am responsible for Softcat’s Workspace, Intelligence (ITAM/ITSM), Support & Managed Services solutions.My teams specialise in Workspace, Intelligence & Support strategy across all of Softcat’s 10k+ customers. We are interested in everything that impacts an employee’s digital experience and enables an IT team to excel supporting, monitoring and managing underlying technologies, and we are responsible for circa £500m PA of contract, services and hardware/software spend.Areas we cover include: Device procurement, logistics, supply chain & analytics services, full/hybrid outsource, helpdesk, managed network and datacenter services, SAM, ITAM, ITSM, DRaaS, BaaS, DaaS, MPS, VDI, financing models, application management & hybrid working. We are here to help develop strategy, design & implement projects, partner on transformation, and provide bespoke managed service contracts. My focus is creating environments where people are happy, healthy and productive - and using technology as a facilitator to achieve this. Oversaw relationships with large key Softcat accounts and managed the overall strategic partnership for each client, linking in a team of resource in a multitude of IT specialist areas.My responsibilities included sourcing and deploying major business change projects, managing complex vendor relationships and negotiations on behalf of my clients, and responsibility for the overall business development of my customer portfolio - including developing new client partnerships and increasing Softcat ‘share of wallet’ within my existing client base.In addition to my role as an account director at Softcat, I directly managed a team of 10. The role involved responsibility for developing and managing both new and established account managers, and ensuring the success and continual expansion of Softcat's Leeds office, of which I was a senior founding member and have overseen growth from 6 to 60+ sales staff. I held personal accountability for ensuring my team achieved targets, grew their profitability and revenue streams, and learned to effectively and productively manage Softcat's ever-increasing portfolio of customers.

Responsibilities included:- Recruiting, interviewing, training and managing experienced bar and back of house staff for large events and festivals- On site management of all volunteers and staff, including logistics, rotas, hiring and firing, time sheet and wages, etc.- Direct management responsibility during events of up to 2000 staff- Managed budgets of up to £250k for very large UK festivals such as Bestival and Secret Garden Party- Full time office role between events, organising and planning all staffing requirements and logistics
