Rob Brockhaus brings over two decades of experience as an entrepreneur and executive in the financial service, not-for-profit, and trade association industries with expertise in sales marketing, project management, volunteer management, coalition building, and fundraising. Brockhaus possesses extensive knowledge of best practices in organizational change and not-for-profit development. With his leadership and experience, Brockhaus has helped Washington, D.C.-based and national organizations surpass their revenue goals, increase membership, and deepen their volunteer participation.Mr. Brockhaus is the Vice President of Sales & Marketing for a communications consulting firm based in Arlington, Virginia with an office in St. Louis, Missouri where he assists national clients with their communication, legislative advocacy, and fundraising efforts. Brockhaus worked for the Heritage Foundation as the Manager of Community Committee Relations where he established member-based chapters and oversaw the volunteer management of high-level donors across the United States. Prior to Heritage, Brockhaus was the Director of Member Relations at Wall Street’s trade association, the Securities Industry and Financial Markets Association (SIFMA). He also worked in Development for the U.S. Chamber of Commerce and as an international bond trader at the headquarters of Edward Jones Investments in St. Louis, Missouri. Mr. Brockhaus is a graduate of The George Washington University in Washington, D.C. where he received his MBA in Finance and International Business. He is also a graduate of Saint Louis University in St. Louis, Missouri where he received his Bachelor of Science in Marketing as well as Management. Brockhaus served his community as a member of the leadership team for the Boy Scouts of America’s Washington, D.C. Eagle Scout alumni chapter and is the current Cubmaster for his children's local Cub Scout Pack in Clayton, Missouri, and the Pathfinder District Community Friends of Scouting Chairman. Outside of Scouting, Brockhaus is a member of the City of Clayton's Economic Development Advisory Committee.
