As Group President and Executive Director of CYBER1, I have been at the forefront of the cybersecurity industry for the last three decades. During this time, I founded several companies across EMEA and turned them into flagship businesses. I like to think that my dynamic nature and energy are the driving force behind every aspect of the companies I run. My decades of experience have given me a unique insight into customer requirements, and I have become a leading expert in developing and implementing cybersecurity strategies. In addition, I have been a member of Intel’s Securities EMEA partner advisory council since its inception.My involvement with CYBER1 began with acquiring three successful businesses, which remain today as CYBER1 Solutions South Africa, CYBER1 Solutions Kenya, and Trinexia Middle East. I also founded another two cyber security businesses that have joined the CYBER1 group of companies (Trinexia Africa and South Africa) and have been fortunate enough to have identified market gaps and used my understanding of where global vendors can make a significant impact to benefit our clients. I now work closely with the C-Level and Managing Directors of the CYBER1 Group, driving the strategic approach based on new and emerging trends. As a founder of the collective companies, my strong understanding of how our businesses operate, combined with my industry knowledge and ability to identify future attack threats, have put CYBER1 in an ideal position to implement effective cyber security measures across a wide range of private and public organisations.Over and above my duties as Group President and Executive Director, I sit on the CYBER1 Finance Subcommittee, responsible for expansion opportunities and financial analysis to drive commercial decisions for the business.
