The company has now turned its focus to commercial applications, specifically, Internet of Things (IOT) enabled distributed gas sensing.

Nanoscience research program at the University of Nevada, Reno recognized worldwide for its leading weapons sensors. In 2003 we spun out Nevada Nanotechnology Systems, which went on to win recognition as the world's best new defense technology from Scientific American in 2004.
