I'm a Texas Licensed State Land Surveyor and Registered Professional Land Surveyor and a Registered Professional Land Surveyor in Oklahoma. I'm the Senior Vice President of Engineering Surveying at Hugo Reed & Associates, Inc. I started my surveying career here in 1981 and am fortunate to have found a profession that I truly love and a company that I'm proud to be a partner in. I oversee one of HRA's 2 surveying divisions, a staff of about 15 survey crew members and office personnel performing a full gamut if surveying work including large rural boundaries, ALTA surveys, route surveys, pipeline surveys, well surveys, design topographic surveys, and large construction projects. We utilize robotic total stations, GPS, digital scanning and UAV/UAS remote sensing.I'm one of five LSLS instructors at The High Plains Experience, a 2-day continuing education seminar held on the historic LIT Ranch near Channing, TX, where surveyors come from across the country to learn first-hand the techniques of the pioneer surveyors who helped settle this land and see their original corner markers on the ground.
