I’ve worked closely with Against the Grain Brewery to establish, maintain, and grow a brand in an increasingly competitive market. From day one, it’s been about capturing their rebellious attitude, sophomoric sense of humor, and attention to quality. Over the last decade, the small brand we established as a brewpub in Kentucky has grown to have a global presence and a partnership with Pabst. Against the Grain beers are now available in 43 states and 25 countries.

As a Senior Product Designer at Forest Giant, I collaborated closely within a skills-balanced team to craft human-centered solutions to complex design problems. I had the opportunity to work with a diverse mix of clients – from startups that needed their first prototype imagined, to large enterprises that needed to build an internal design org and scale a design system. What I loved most about this role is collaborating with other disciplines to create something I couldn’t on my own and pushing myself to keep up with emerging design trends and technology.

As Creative Director, I helped to rebrand Indatus and cultivate a company culture that attracted high-level design and engineering talent. Additionally, I was the Lead Product Designer on the product development team that rebuilt and redesigned our flagship SaaS-based product, following lean and agile principles. The brand and products we helped grow were acquired for nearly $50 Million.
