Routine and ad-hoc duties include: Drafting correspondence to governments, international institutions, and individuals, according to the Agency communication guidelines; making arrangements for internal/external meetings, seminars, and other international events; and contributing to project management initiatives. Prepare travel authorizations/claims; compile, calculate, prepare cost estimates and manage logistics. Reconcile payable accounts and month-end and year-end closing. Manage records in the department and ensure consistency, correctness and timely workflow. Maintain departmental databases.SELECTED CONTRIBUTIONS:*Organize international events and liaise with Governments regarding the event’s management and participation.*Prepare procurement requisitions for field procurement worldwide.*Departmental records management and maintenance.*Assist in the preparation of the programme and budget.*Contribute to the periodic and year-end accounts closure process.*Reconcile payable accounts, and complete and monitor A/P transactions.
