I was born and raised in Redlands, CA grew up with the fascination of how things worked and was always disassembling and reassembling things to see what made them function. My grandfather is the greatest influence on who I am today by teaching me very valuable skills of problem-solving. He taught me almost everything I know about cars and grew up working in an engine bay with him. Whenever I had an issue he would not tell me the immediate answer he would give me hints and make me figure it out, which taught me to think critically from a young age. He is the leading influence in my desire to pressure engineering as he is a former employee of Northrup Grumman. I am a third year member of the Formula SAE EV team at California Baptist University. I started out as a chassis intern as I had a desire to learn metal fabrication. In my first year on the team I obtained the junior lead position and became senior lead the sext year for the 2023-2024 SAE season. In these last three years I have gained skills in metal fab, manual machining, 3D design in Solidworks, and FEA. I am eager to diversify my skillset and learn more in different fields of engineering, so next year I will be joining the powertrain subsystem on the IC (Internal combustion) team as an intern for the 2024-2025 Formula SAE season.
