VSi's POD Equipment (Parylene On Demand) provides customers with in house parylene coating capabilities. By brining the parylene coating process in house VSi's POD allows customers to have complete control over production quality, demand, and costs.

Electrical and Controls Design consultation for industrial automation projects.

Oversaw development of an environmental IoT platform (hardware and software) from proof of concept to beta launch. Gathered environmental data from remote locations utilizing solar & battery power coupled with long range wireless protocols & cellular for cloud connectivity to visualize, alert, and transform data in the cloud. Managed a team of five electrical, software, and manufacturing engineers. Technology stack included sensors, edge computing, wireless protocols, and cloud computing. Applications included monitoring water (level, depth, & quality), air (H2S), temperature, noise, and weather. Directed development of features and functionality of cloud software to meet strategic business and customer needs. Oversaw manufacturing and delivery of hardware to meet business needs and end user schedules. Crafted product roadmap and development strategy for both hardware and software. Collaborated on Go to Market approach including stakeholder engagements, product features, deployment, and support.

Business Development & Global Sales Lead for the business unit on ZoloSCAN in the power generation market. Also handled aftermarket sales and annual service contracts for ZoloSCAN in all markets (Steel, Petrochemical & Refining, Power Generation). Focus was on customer sales engagement, go to market strategies, developing global channel partners, working with regional sales offices, and ensuring outstanding long term support for customers after install.

New product development for industrial IoT (IIoT) products and solutions. Developed product roadmaps, product vision, requirements, and prioritization of new ideas/features. Evaluated opportunities on a continual basis to align product development with company goals. Utilized both agile methodologies and stage gate product development processes to develop new innovative products that drive value for both the customer and OnPoint ( a Koch Engineered Solutions company).New product development efforts were focused on a custom IIoT sensor in petrochemical & refining for process burners to support enhanced data gathering for analytics and machine learning.

Responsible for overall integration of multiple systems into a final product. Conducted design reviews, certification and testing, project management, design for manufacturing, control cabinet design, and electrical power distribution on the ZoloSCAN laser based combustion monitoring product. ZoloSCAN is a TDLAS instrument designed for harsh environments to measure O2, CO, H2O, and Temperature to enable combustion optimization for lower emissions in industrial applications.

Lead engineer for E&IC design including PLC code development, HMI user interface, and control cabinet design. Managed electrical vendors and contractors during procurement and build phases. Led design efforts for new product development utilizing a new coating process and brought it to market after extensive testing and development in house. Maintained & upgraded legacy machine designs and provided customer support. Vapor Tech is an OEM machine builder of thin film (PVD) deposition equipment for a wide variety of industries and applications.
