Welcome to my profile! My name is Robby L. Martinez Vazquez and I’m currently a 3rd year PharmD student at the University of Florida College of Pharmacy Orlando Campus. My path in pharmacy started by being a Pharmacy Technician Intern in Puerto Rico. During that process I discovered that Pharmacy was the way for me to serve others since I consider is full of interaction and service in which the ultimate goal is the patients wellbeing and safety. It also involves working with other professionals of different specialties, which is perfect for me since I’m a team player who likes to help others and because sometimes it’s also a bit of challenge since you need to be up to date with the information.Currently I’m a Pharmacy Intern at Nemours Children’s Health and a Pharmacy Tech for Walgreens. In college I’m also involve in different organizations and I’m currently the Vice-President of Pediagators. These experiences are really valuable for me since they allow me to continue developing and applying my clinical knowledge, among other skills like leadership, teamwork, effective communication, and time management.I’m from “La Ciudad del Petate”, Sabana Grande, Puerto Rico. My desire to study pharmacy led me to move to Florida about 2 years ago. It was a challenge but who doesn’t love a challenge. I always have a desire to help others and it makes me happy when I see them achieve their goals. As of my downtime I enjoy of walking, landscape photography, exploring new places and baking.
