Part-time PWC employee; returning to Full-time college Fall 2024

I held the position of Operations Manager for the Heavy Construction Contractors Association (HCCA), a nonprofit organization highly dependent on membership and participation in the events organized. My first 2 years with HCCA, the Executive Director and I planned and executed all functions of the organization coordinating with Board of Directors and HCCA committees. My tasks included all office administration, meeting planning, committee coordination, membership retention, restructuring of the HCCA Construction Safety Training Program and event planning and execution.While employed for HCCA, I overhauled the safety training program to create a consistent and sustainable program resulting in an increase of the gross income by 125%, an increase in the profit margin by 20%, lowering expenses and increasing participation from both members and non-members. This was accomplished while and increasing attendance & sponsorship for lunch & learn seminars, dinner meetings and main events (golf tournaments, 5K charity run, clay pigeon shoot tournament, etc.) by improving planning & execution of visual media & marketing, logistics and personal attention to the membership. HCCA golf tournaments were sold out for both sponsorships and participants (200 to 270 golfers) for the last three years. The HCCA Community Service Projects also saw an increase in participation and media exposure. I coordinated televised media coverage with NBC4 for the last three community projects. Membership was increased by 27% in my four years of employment. Overall, all budgets were met or exceeded during my employment. The increase in profitability also enabled the employment of an in-house trainer and part-time office administrator.I have enjoyed my time at HCCA and the networking opportunities I obtained through the membership and municipal & legislative relationships. I am now seeking new challenges and to further my experience.
