Rob is the Regional Marketplace Leader for Risk Advisory and a Partner at Deloitte. He is based in Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada. Rob has over 25 years experience as a management consultant and strategic business advisor including, Digital / IT / Cloud / Cyber Security, Data Management, Corporate Strategy, Risk Management, Internal Audit / Controls and Sustainability (ESG). Rob is a member of the National Risk Advisory Executive team and holds several leadership roles in the firm including the National Risk Advisory Alliance Partner for the IBM, Red Hat and Kyndryl relationships, Lead Client Service Partner for several Atlantic companies, and Lead Business Partner for Risk Advisory on selected Large Priority Accounts. Rob has deep experience advising clients in industries including consumer business, energy, public sector, telecommunications and financial services. Rob's practice primarily focuses on publicly traded companies and large private companies. He actively advises C-Suite leaders and lead projects.Rob has grown consulting and advisory businesses through technical experience, focused sales, practice management, talent development and leadership. He has significant experience leading both national and international account teams, Canada wide industry teams, and practice teams. He has significant international client service experience and business relationships.Rob is an active public speaker and supporter of community fundraising initiatives. He is actively involved in many major fundraising events including Mental Health, Children's Wish, Cancer Research, and United Way.He has held distinctive governance roles on Boards including the Chair of the Board, Vice Chair and Chair of the Audit Committee for the Halifax Partnership, President and now Board Member for the Maritime Chapter of the Institute of Internal Auditors, Board member and current Energy / Environment Committee Chair for the Nova Scotia Chapter of the Canadian Manufacturers and Exporters, founding Executive Council member of the Atlantic Hydrogen Alliance and Chair of the Hubs Working Group, and, has been a member and the past Chair of the Acadia University's FC Manning School of Business Advisory Board.
