Developed a new Oncology EMR. As UX and creative design lead, I was responsible for implementing visual designs implementing wireframes and prototypes. As Chief Architect, I led a technical team at a medical startup that built a decision support system using Naive Bayesian inference that produced a differential diagnosis, - a list of possible diagnoses that explain the current symptoms, history and diagnostic tests. We built an inference engine that could generate a differential in under a second. The interface presented a free form interface that included an epidemiology database from the CDC, along with probabilistic data gleaned from research such as prior probabilities, frequencies of symptoms, prior history, etc., for each disease profile.
