These included the development of the Transport Interchange, which received a national Civic Trust award, and Crowtree Leisure Centre.I also worked with the Housing Department on their modernisation programme over several years. This department went on to become Gentoo Group.My time at Sunderland was invaluable throughout my career, providing an understanding of local government and the public sector.
