Rob is a Partner at Forvis Mazars, a leading accounting and advisory firm that serves clients across various industries and sectors. He has extensive experience in providing assurance and consulting services, with a focus on private equity, technology, consumer products, and real estate. He is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and has extensive knowledge of the new lease accounting standard (ASC 842), complex debt and equity arrangements, and revenue recognition. As an assurance partner in the Metro DC market, Rob leads the delivery of high-quality and customized solutions to meet the needs and expectations of his clients. He is also actively involved in the firm's technical accounting and auditing teams, where he supports and guides engagement teams on complex and emerging issues, develops and updates training materials and practice aids, and performs quality reviews of consultations and engagements. Rob is passionate about enhancing the firm's audit methodology and quality, and contributing to the firm's growth and innovation.Rob recently completed a rotation through the firm's National Professional Standards Group (PSG) where he focused on complex technical accounting and auditing matters, risk management, and accounting standards implementation.
