My career passion is discovering opportunities to apply GIS to business workflows providing competitive capabilities and supporting efficiency in processes.Upon discovery of an opportunity my passion continues in coordinating and/or creating GIS business focused solutions. These solutions could drive the development and leverage an extendable and cost efficient governed GIS platform to optimize, increase efficiency and capabilities in business workflows. In turn the end delivery should support a company's objectives and aid in solving today's and tomorrows business challenges.I am excited in creating innovative solutions using recent developments in the GIS industry and believe efficient data integration is key to enable full return of investment in business solutions, not just data in GIS but also connecting with domains outside GIS to maximize value in the spatial relationships of data. I have a wide range of experience in understanding and applying GIS across the many E&P domains including Commercial, Exploration, Operations, Land, etc. My aim to create streamline business GIS workflows whether geological, geophysical, engineering, logistics, HS&E etc.In my role at Maersk Oil I fulfilled a leading role in establishing a spatial data infrastructure to efficiently develop consistent global GIS solutions as well as supporting the development of team based GIS services. My focus was on recognizing value-adding opportunities for geospatial solutions, development of, embedding and facilitating business change using a combination of skills including business analysis, spatial analysis, data modelling, software development, web service provision etcI developed a strong foundation of experience from my previous role to Maersk as an on-site consultant and developer working on GIS projects with Tullow Oil, Premier Oil, North Caspian Operating Company (NCOC), Centrica, BP, GDF Suez, Endeavour and Wintershall.I am a UK Citizen with permanent US residency.
