I retired from the NHS in 2021 having stayed on to work through Covid. However, after a short time I found I'd lost a sense of real purpose and while my time was my own I had no driving sense of achievement. Before I joined the NHS in 2008, I'd run my own training and coaching business and taken that to a 6-fig annual income.I decided to restart the business but I didn't want to work those long 14 hr day which I did previously. Working online was the obvious answer.I focused my training and coaching on marketing skills.I had a false start when I got caught up in tech stuff, building websites, landing pages and autoresponders and using ads to drive traffic to the site, and switched to organic marketing and free traffic. That rapidly took me to a new 5-Fig income level and continues to grow. Most of my work is done on Facebook but I'm happy to show anyone who wants how to build a business alongside their current job to create additional income.Of course, if you want you can build it to replace the current job, or perhaps move to reduced hoursWANT TO KNOW MORE: send me a messagePast Employment From the outbreak of Covid, until May 2021 when I retired, I was deployed to the NHS Improvement Estates team PMO to support work on the upgrade of oxygen systems across the estate, the management of effective oxygen systems across the hospital estates and clinical teams and liaison with Suppliers. This covers the supply of scarce VIE plant, supplies of equipment from the national resources, programme and project implementation and the overall development of oxygen resilience across the estate.Previously worked as an Improvement Manager for several programmes (2013-2020)Earlier in my career with the NHS, I was National Programme Manager for Connected (communication skills training for clinicians) within NCAT. Very few clinicians work solely in cancer and therefore a large number who spend the majority of their time in other settings such as cardiac, COPD or End of Life Care have benefited from the course and found it applicable to their work. Between March 2008 and March 2013 Connected trained over 16,500 clinicians. During my time with the NHS I maintained my coaching skills as a coach with the Leadership Academy and was a Lead Coach for the London network
