As part of an Agile team, I contributed to several internally developed bespoke applications including A Client Portal; An Application Process; An Applicant Tracking System and a on-line Assessment Tool. On joining I was able to use my experience to implement a deployment process combining GIT, bitbucket and the ‘git flow’ pattern to release versioned code into the production environment, while also introducing the team to Unit & Acceptances testing. This laid the building blocks for later moves towards the concepts of Continual Integration including Automated Testing. My AWS Cloud experience was used to start the process of moving away from physical infrastructure to cloud based solution.

Zero Carbon Future worked with and provide renewable energy technologies.Initially, my primary focus was to continue the development of ‘Figu’, an in-house Web Application which controls the sales & delivery processes within the company, although I was also involved with API and UI work relating to the `Minibems` project. My role included contributing to the strategy and code base as well as being tasked with constructing scalable server infrastructure within the AWS Cloud. The system is a high transaction, built around the Yii MVC framework taking advantage of web sockets and message queues.

Sourced by Bluecube Technology Solutions (BTS) CEO to develop a Service Desk / CRM package, managing the company’s internal systems and external client requests. I have developed and implemented a web based solution allowing BTS clients to log Incidents via a web portal, email and phone, feeding in to a front end application managed by the system and service desk agents.This project has also involved integrating and communicating with other applications. In conjunction with one of BTS clients, I also developed and implemented a message management solution. This franchise based application records messages taken by phone operators and despatches them to the relevant recipients, via text, email or fax.

Working full time as a PHP Developer I was involved in the development of an online CRM / Accounts system. Using my existing accounts and manufacturing knowledge my role involved the development of the core application, any bespoke developments, tailored to individual customer’s requirements and the integration and implementations of existing customer data.

Working with 5 Primary and 1 Secondary school with both staff and students, my role involved contributing to the development of ICTImplementation of a Virtual Learning Environment (VLE) and contributing to the project "Building Schools for the Future" (BSF) process.

In 2000 I along with two colleagues founded Altrigen Solutions Ltd to support companies created by the breakup of the Drummond Group. My primary role within the company was to closely work with the companies major customers. During this period I developed and implemented a company wide manufacturing system, in addition to working closely with two companies who were under going a merger.

Initially working within the production departments, I joined the IT team in 1994. Starting as a programmer I contributed to the development of the internal manufacturing systems. The systems where developed in both Dataflex and Progress v6.
