The 100 strong, multi-skilled team, has a wide breadth of experience in undertaking most building types. July 2006 saw ADS sign a partnership agreement with international consultancy firm Jacobs to form the Strategic Design Alliance.My role was to aid the integration of the Strategic Design Alliance, liaise with clients and raise the profile of the service within Leeds and its surrounding districts.I worked closely with Architects, Structural Engineers and Building Surveyors on a daily basis to ensure the service provided to clients exceeded expectations. I acted as a point of call to clients, reviewing their service provision over the last 12 months, in order to identify where we had succeeded and key areas requiring further development.Key achievementRe-branding strategy - Throughout my time at ADS I was involved in the corporate re-brand and launch of the Strategic Design Alliance, working with senior management at ADS and Jacobs on a daily basis. The re-branding of ADS was done to shed its negative image and re-position the brand. We felt the need to revise the brand in terms of its relevancy to consumers and the changing market place, focusing on how the collaboration of key players from the public and private sector with such combined specialist know how and expertise would benefit the city of Leeds. The process involved radical changes to the logo, brand name, image, marketing strategy and advertising themes. We launched the new identity and brand in a subtle and methodical manner in order to avoid alienating existing customers but at the same time aiming to attract new business prospects.
