The VP of IT is responsible for management of projects, supervision of departmental staff members and recommendations to Board of Directors regarding IT policy and procedures. As the ISO, I'm responsible for development and delivery of the Information Security and privacy program for WSB. The purpose of this program include: to assure that information created, acquired or maintained by WSB and its authorized users, is used in accordance with its intended purpose; to protect WSB information and its infrastructure from external or internal threats; to assure that WSB complies with all statutory and regulatory requirements under GBLA & FFIEC regarding information access, security and privacy. As the bank compliance officer I implement, and manage the areas of banking regulations and laws, banking policies and procedures, consumer protection, and public interest laws along with Employee training. I work with the Head Cashier in overseeing compliance procedures and also advise on risk management.As the bank compliance officers I advise, oversee, and train the banking staff on compliance procedures. I am also the main source of contact with outside audit companies.
