Responsibilities included the design and delivery of systems, evaluation and implementation of new technologies, direct interaction with clients, and training and mentoring of developers.Oversaw technical direction of the development group, responsible for the Security and Identity Access Management product.

Technical Lead on several large, successful web based projects. Projects were written in C# using ASP.Net and SQL Server. Perform coding, mentor developers on team, system design, set technical standards, and perform estimates.Most recent project was to allow a state government agency to better manage its customers and track legally required data. Project consisted of both internal and public websites with a shared business layer. These websites and the data they manage are critical to the daily operation of this agency. Written in C# using .Net Framework 3.5.Lead a large project to successful implementation for another state agency. Application manages a large amount of critical data and required a number of complex business rules. This internal web based application is used by agents throughout the state.Designed and wrote a WinForms based application with local SQL Express database used to manage voter check-in during elections. This highly successful application is now used at voting precincts all over the state of South Carolina.

Technical Lead on a major application the company was developing to support a new sales method. Worked closely with business customers to document system requirements. Design and implement several major parts of the system. Lead and mentored other experienced developers.Designed a new document system using XML, XSL and a C# based object model. This system creates insurance proposal documents, which are generated on an intranet server and delivered in Microsoft Word compatible Rich Text Format. Managed the efforts of several other developers to program and integrate into existing intranet application. The new system created documents 3 times faster then the previous system, and new products could be added in half the development time previously required.
