Inflection was created to give everyone their own Personal Assistant. We are creating a humble, empathetic, kind and very capable assistant named Pi. Our mission is to make intelligence and kindness available to every person in the world.We are building Pi by training our own foundation models, using our clusters of over 22,000 (and growing) GPUs. Lead development of Verkada's $300M+ camera line as member of executive team. Established key engineering teams & leaders for Mobile, Computer Vision, Streaming, Infrastructure, Search, Data, Web, etc. Launched 6 cameras on new Ambarella SoC, iOS/Android mobile apps, migrated infrastructure onto K8/Terraform, rebuilt video streaming protocols to improve performance. Brought Verkada's first software only product to market in two months and generated $10M+ in sales in 12 months. Cultural lead across engineering; started monthly all-hands, quarterly Builders' day, and annual Builders' camp to recognize engineering contributions and celebrate team wins.

Founded Sequoia Capital backed software startup; grew annual revenue to $25 million and team to 100+ employees after navigating multiple challenging pivots. Acquired by Marlin Equity Partners in February 2018.Functionally responsible for managing R&D team of 50+ in all aspects of building Inkling’s software products, including the planning, implementation and operations. Made key technical contributions as Inkling’s founding engineer, including the original platform architecture.Inkling’s products are used by millions of people across the US and internationally. Many Fortune 500s, including McDonald’s, Comcast, CAT, and Farmers Insurance, use Inkling to train their workforces.

Responsible for advertising campaigns operations, revenue reporting across all business units, and business intelligence support to the executive team. Directly managed the operations team, composed of analysts and technical operations personnel. Opened first foreign office in London with sales counterpart and grew team to a dozen employees.

Led R&D effort of flagship behavioral targeting product used by Fortune 500 media companies such as AOL, DowJones, Reuters, and the Financial Times. Managed team of project managers and engineers.

Implemented large-scale data warehousing and data mining system with components developed in Java, PHP, and JavaScript.
