Duties and function:• To sustain and improve all equipment performance indices to meet operation’s goals.• Troubleshoot equipment-related problems to minimize equipment downtime.• Monitor and control equipment performance indices.• Maximize the uptime of equipment to sustain equipment performance.• Co-ordinate with both process and Manufacturing Engineers to ensure work is carried out efficiently to meet module objectives• Provide and maintain preventive maintenance specifications for equipment for customer’s reference• Conducts training for Engineers / Technical Assistants to upgrade their technical skills and to enhance their knowledge about machine’s theory• Participate in international convention • Documentation of Corrective Action and Best-Known Methods for equipment to allow more efficient troubleshooting• Execute machine service and repair recording system.• Machine data management.• To assist in equipment set-up and evaluation activities.
