About Rob Davies

Aligning organisational structure and putting in place a capable leadership team while developing a positively ambitious performance based culture is essential for success. With the right environment and rewards system people can achieve more than they thought possible.I apply skills and insights learnt from the many experiences gained in publicly listed and privately held businesses across a range of industries delivering products and services in domestic and export markets to customers with different needs. More often than not my work has involved reshaping an existing situation in order to deliver significant change. Typically a business has drifted away from the key needs of its customers and has a culture where employee rewards are unrelated to their performance. I have enjoyed these challenges, applying my experience to ‘unpeel the onion’ and unlock the potential that lies within. Most of what needs to be done is known within the business, but lost in the demands of the day. Working with key stakeholders to define governance elements such as risk tolerance/appetite and winning their confidence and commitment to bold strategic change can be a demanding but essential first step. I have found that step changing a business is not rocket science but is built on insight, courage, tenacity and the ability to cut through. Pragmatic execution and the development of ambitious leadership within the business underpins sustainable improvement.
