With more than 40 years experience in Film and Television, Rob has worked on everything from Regional TV News to Hollywood Feature Films. Rob's most recent project is Creepshow Seasons 1/2/3 & 4 with Seasons 1-3 currently airing on AMC/Shudder.Rob started his career in Australia shooting Regional News before moving to TV and Theatrical Commercials, Documentaries, Music Videos. It was following his move to the US in 1980 that he started in Narrative film on the TV series Tales From The Darkside. This was followed by other series, Mini Series, TV movies and Feature films in a career that has spanned more than 40 years and seen many technological changes in the industry.He is credited with numerous Awards in the US and Australia and an equally impressive list of nominations. He also won the first Cable ACE Award for Tales from the Crypt creating a period look for the Episode Lower Berth..Known as a technical innovator and creative risk taker in the industry he has pioneered many new techniques and worked on development of motion picture products for SONY, Panasonic, Fuji Film, Arri and Zeiss. Rob was also the first to run a full scale Hi Definition shoot in Hollywood on the then "new gen" HiDef camera's. He has travelled all over the USA and Canada teaching cinematographers and delivering Keynotes on feature film lighting for ARRIFLEX and Sony, and Worldwide for Panasonic.In the early 2000's, seeing well ahead into the future of online video, Rob decided to take a sidestep from narrative production and developed what was essentially the worlds first online TV channel fully produced in HD, Singlemalt TV, which shortly after launch was acquired by News International (The Sunday Times-London) and led to him working directly with James Murdoch at The Times developing a video based platform for an innovative online video driven Whisky Club.More of Rob's work will be seen when Season 4 of Creepshow airs on Shudder Network later this year and when his most recent feature film, "Love You.
