As a Credit Analyst my responsibilities include but are not limited to:.Drafting credit write-ups for commercial, consumer, and residential loans. .Utilize analysis software to input financial reports and prepare financial analysis .Provide assistance with the maintenance of loan requirements, loan portfolio monitoring, and reports..Conduct credit investigations.

➢ Responsible for underwriting existing and new commercial loan requests. Processes include analysis of corporate tax returns, internal and CPA prepared financial statements, personal financial statements, company aging and backlog reports, DNBi reporting, with full write-ups and deal justification.➢ Prepare complex formal written credit underwriting for small to midsize companies with sales ranging from $1 to $50 million in annual revenue with approval authority of up to $1 million.➢ Work with Relationship Managers and Credit Policy Officers (Risk) to assess credit opportunities, identify key risks, and structure alternatives.

➢Underwrite deals for corporate companies with sales ranging from $10 to $200 million in annual revenue with approval authority of up to $2 million.➢ Responsible for assessing credit risk for Business, Corporate and Merchant Financing portfolio. ➢ In-depth credit analysis of businesses, primarily small to medium size enterprises having substantial credit commitment/exposure with American Express. ➢ Analyzed a wide range of business models, industry risk assessment coupled with support of internal and external model outputs to reach sound credit decisions. ➢ Worked closely with key business partners to ensure sound credit decisions are made at all levels of the credit product cycle (Acquisitions, Customer Management and Collections).

➢ Monitored and reviewed electronic account and transaction data for suspicious activity and possible fraud, as well as, reviewed, investigated and resolved irregular transactions reported by end-users.➢ Identified business areas requiring increased security controls to protect our client organizations and their end-users from future incidents of fraud. ➢ Kept detailed records of suspicious activity, analyzed trends, communicated security threats to management and provided recommendations for loss mitigation as deemed necessary.
