About Robin Dymond
I am currently working in academic management as a Degree course Coordinator and Masters in music performance lecturer. For this I oversee all processes, workflows and data management for four cohorts of music students and music professionals. This also includes teaching complex production, post production and the synchronizing of audio and music to image. Alongside the course coordinator role, I am also the designated safeguarding and mental health lead. This has included training engineers who work for major record labels and sound designers.I have over 10 years of experience in audio and sound production. I have been trained up to masters level with DAWs such as Logic, Pro Tools 12 and Nuendo 7. I have Pro Tools certification as well as receiving training from audio designers who have been involved in the production of Hans Zimmer's film music. I also composed and edited vocals and music for Manchester City's 'CityBeats' app with Soniqplay. I have an extensive knowledge of scoring software such as Notion, as well as Mmus level knowledge and application of C++ programming. As a Composer I have worked with Bath Orchestra, members of the Canadian Philharmonic and Plus Minus Orchestra. I have worked on 7 score commissions for perform music as well as being involved with composition commissions linked with channel 4 and the BBC. As a musician I have played a range of prestigious festivals as well as performing with some of the top artists in the country. I have trained musicians who have achieved number 1 singles in the billboard charts as well as working with a range of well known musicians who have performed with artists such as Dizzie Rascal, Jessie J and Steve Hackett. Most Recently I have performed guitar on Will Atkinson's Last King of Scotland, which was number 1 trance album, and reached number 5 in the UK dance charts.
