Chief Enterprise Architect - Chief Strategist Program Manager for the Office of Architecture and Strategy. Reports directly to the Chief Administrator, Chief Information Officer and the Chief Justice of the Washington State Supreme Court. Responsible for providing Enterprise and Solutions Architecture strategic planning and program management for the Courts and Judicial branch of Washington State. Responsible for the oversite of Enterprise and Solutions architects with a budget of $2 million in staff and equipment. Completely re-established the Office of Architecture and Strategy by introducing the concept of Enterprise Reference Architecture and EA Guiding Principles to the Administrative Office of the Courts. Following established industry practices, created Policies, Standards, Strategic Roadmaps, updated numerous processes and procedures across the organization and reinforced a strong business partnership between the courts business units, Information Services Division and all levels of courts within the Judicial Branch.Administrative Office of the Courts is the Data as a Service (DaaS) provider for the entire Judicial System within the Washington State courts communities including Supreme, Superior, Appellate, Juvenile, Courts of Limited Jurisdiction, District, County, and City/Municipal courts. Our external partners include other state and federal agencies as well as law firms across the state and country. The Office of Architecture and Strategy determines the overall strategic technical direction for the agency and Judicial Information System (JIS); and designs and architects technology solutions that align with that direction and meet the business needs of Washington Courts systems.

ITES Line of Business DevOps Enterprise Architect. Acting as a trusted strategic advisor, I provided leadership and mentoring, and directed daily administrative functions for the ITES Manager at the request of the DCIO and CIO. I managed 6 direct reports. These technical staff directly supported and maintained the SQL and Pre-Production and Production agency line of business (LoB) applications and databases. managed the Enterprise Monitoring team by providing solutions for DevOps pipelines while integrating AI in to our process flows. Moved the environment into the SDLC framework using Agile Scrum/Kanban methodologies in the implementation of DevOps within the agency. I lead and motivated senior technical staff with training, mentoring, and coaching regarding technology projects as well as governance processes. I built and maintained customer relationships with staff, executive management and business units on a daily basis. I provided Enterprise level strategic architecture and road maps, project planning, and consultation to executive management on large scale Agency enterprise projects and programs. Briefed executive management on strategic technologies and new or emerging program initiatives such as Cloud Services. I partnered with cross functional teams internal and external to the Agency. Followed both internal Governance processes and Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) service management best practices and guidelines within enterprise class environments.

As the Enterprise Architecture Office supervisor, I performed administrative duties, approve leave and training requests, conducted personnel reviews, provide leadership and mentoring, and direct daily administrative functions for the Chief Enterprise Architect. I managed 4 Enterprise Architect direct reports and 6 Domain Architect project supervisory reports. Storage Systems Architect, SAN, NAS, DASEnterprise Architect responsible for a Fiber Channel to iSCSI Storage Area Network migration project. This included changing the backup and restore processes. Saved $800,000 cost saving during this migration project.
