As a Product Owner, led a cross-functional, agile development team focused primarily on the web-based user interface for the TeSys island digital load management solution. Managed scrum team consisting of engineers from embedded software and product verification organizations located both in the US and the Czech Republic. Changed direction of team when it became apparent that the product verification technical debt that had built up during the course of the project would impact the release date. When it became clear that we would not be able to meet the timing targets with the existing processor, worked with hardware team to transition to a dual-core design. Updated the architecture and implemented changes to share the load between the two cores in order to meet the required timing goals.
