Robel Grmay Gebretnsae , originally from Eritrea, was born and raised in Sudan. He graduated with distinction, earning a CGPA of 4.27, in both Information Technology and Accounting. After completing his studies, Robel began volunteering to support his community and became an advocate for refugees.Over the past three years, he has immersed himself in voluntary work, serving as an activist and trainer. His substantial experience lies in the educational sector. Robel has collaborated with various organizations, including the Volunteer Hub Organization and the UNHCR (Telling the Real Story). In these roles, he has facilitated community mobilization efforts, enhancing children’s skills and emphasizing the importance of volunteerism in assisting refugees. Additionally, he has actively promoted diversity, peace-building, and community entrepreneurship to advance sustainable development goals.Robel’s impactful decisions have yielded positive outcomes for these organizations. His commitment to spreading the culture of volunteerism and fostering community engagement aligns with his belief that collective service can create significant change.Currently, Robel serves as a Global Peace Ambassador for the Global Peace Chain. Furthermore, he holds the position of Chairperson at the YALI Regional Leadership Center East Africa - Alumni Chapter of Eritrea. As an alumnus of the YALI Business and Entrepreneurship Track (Cohort 46), Robel continues to contribute to meaningful initiatives.Robel’s dedication to volunteerism and community empowerment is commendable, and his impact resonates far beyond borders.
