Rob Engle has a broad background in themed entertainment and motion picture visual effects including specialties in shot supervision, projection mapping, stereography, look development, lighting, rendering technology and software R&D. He has extensive experience in the field of stereoscopic cinema, having supervised the 3D adaptations of more than a dozen films. He has worked in every major form of 3-D content creation including full-CG rendering, 2-D to 3-D conversion, native live-action stereoscopic photography and hybrid techniques using all three. The combination of his 3-D, visual effects and technology experience has made Rob a consistent innovator in the film and themed entertainment industries.Over his career, he has been active in the community with volunteer work at the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences (AMPAS), Visual Effects Society (VES), International 3-D Society (I3DS) and SIGGRAPH.Specialties: 3-D filmmaking, effects supervision, projection mapping, CG look development, lighting, rendering technology, software and hardware technology development
