We learn fast and adapt together, and navigate our journey to success, achieving extraordinary results.   Results that leap from the good to the great.I am a technologist to my core.  A software programmer from the age of 12, lacking funds I built my first computer from scratch, writing software applications and designing electronics as I went along. A long time practitioner of agile software development and lean practices.  Starting as a software engineer, I developed myself to be technical director and ultimately a managing director leading an international team of 450 people.  My experience spans Defence, Communications, and Energy industries.   I have designed industrial software and digital electronics for Tyco.  Developed the world's first smart phones working for Ericsson mobile communications in UK and Kista in Sweden.  Branched out into a startup developing a machine vision system to detect fire, smoke and personnel hazards.  Then transitioned into defence sector joining Thales as head of software for the submarine business unit developing  Sonar 2076, and Mine countermeasures systems, and ultimately as Director Managing of the Electronic Warfare and Combat Systems businesses in the UK.   I now work with Seebyte, an innovative software first business, sharing my knowledge and experience, to solve the hardest problems in the defence industry employing artificial intelligence for robotic Autonomous systems in the maritime sector.
