This is one of the major secondary units in CPCL's refinery configuration. My job responsibilities include monitoring and troubleshooting plant abnormalities, suggesting new process/plant modifications with respect to energy, safety, and good manufacturing practices.Carry out HAZOP studies, Process Material /Energy balance.Preparation/Updation of Process manuals.Raising job orders for maintenance.TPM ( Total Productive Maintenance) activities like 5S & Kaizen activities.Active Participation in Safety/Emergency mock drills.

Here I worked for 3 years and had joined as a junior executive in the PES plant (Polyether Sulfone) and then worked in DCDPS/DHDPS plant. Here one can learn many aspects of polymerization and the basic fundamentals of many unit operations like Extractive distillation, Multiple effect evaporators, Crystallization, Centrifuging, Filtration, and Drying.Apart from these, here one can associate himself with 5S, Kaizen activities which helps not only to improve one's professional environment but also helps him to inculcate time management in his daily routine work. At the time when I joined It was a privilege to meet Mr. K.H. Gharda and also the Solvay Vice President Mr. Jacques Rousell. Its a good place to work and learn.My Plant manager Mr S. Sankar is a nice gentlemen and was very cooperative to me.
