Managed the Equity Department (GARP style) of PPM Fund Managers Canada Limited until December 31, 1997, when operations ceased due to the sale of its’ largest client.Managed Equity assets of approximately $400 million that were comprised of Corporate Funds, Mutual Funds, Pension Funds and Segregated Funds. Developed framework to manage both the Canadian and U.S. equity portfolios. Turned around Canadian equity performance from 4th quartile to 1st quartile. Maintained strong performance for 8 years out of 9 years. Developed strategy for the development of the equity portfolio. Determined sector weightings that will be maintained in the equity portfolio.
