Currently seeking a full time employment opportunity.During my time at Oppenheimer, I was to work in a fast paced military manufacturing environment. My main responsibilities required me to work closely with people in departments such as accounting, shipping/receiving, sales, inventory, wiring, paint, CNC, quality, and engineering. I was also the main buyer for all janitorial and office supplies. Day-to-day I was processing bills of materials, purchasing requests, checking various stock rooms, and maintaining receiving logs of all items coming in. This job allowed to me to expand my excel skills in order to show spending trends, quoting, and material usage as well as spilling over into my fantasy football hobby. Lead buyer responsibilities led me to working on a two year long project on two new builds that started with in the quoting phase and continuing through the shipping of the final product. I worked closely with current suppliers as well as bringing on new ones when needed. Purchased products included: electronic components, paints, wires, hardware, adhesives, office/janitorial supplies, and shipping supplies. Critical thinking and attention to detail were paramount to my success during my time here.My time at Dorman was short but effective as I was able to gain some insight into the world of LTL and truckload freight costs and shipping times. Main responsibilities included checking possible billing mistakes and verifying certain shipments followed set shipping routes. Not only that, I got to do some work in exports which included working with engineers to have samples sent internationally and requesting paperwork for compliance purposes from suppliers.I was lucky enough to do a semester abroad in Dublin, Ireland where I had the incredible opportunity to intern at Ingersoll Rand on their material planning team as well as take a pair of classes at GCD. This was my first real insight into being a business professional and learning from an amazing group of people. I was tasked with communicating with supplies about current and project lead times on orders as well as identifying billing mistakes.UMass Amherst was an amazing place to attend college and earn my BS in Resource Economics with a focus in managerial economics. Classes included a wide range from Micro and Macro econ, to marketing, corporate law, and business practices.

My position at Ingersoll Rand was on the Material Planning team where I worked with team members, as well as working by myself, to complete tasks that increased the efficiency of the entire team.
