Brought on as temporary Logistics Clerk where my main responsibility was to help the outbound domestic shipping team. This included tracking shipments and contacting carriers about delivery shortages as well as delays in delivery schedules. Use of SAP to correct shipping information errors and update shipping location rules when needed. Also completed projects assigned by various team members (invoice audits, late shipment confirmations, and data entry).After about 3 months, I was transitioned into a Trade Compliance Clerk role. In this new position I began accumulating knowledge about Trade Compliance regulations (HTS/ECCN) within the United States and countries in Asia. Main responsibilities included creating shipping labels for exports of part samples, creating documentation for the return of product from retailers in Canada, and general record keeping. Other tasks included following up with shipment exceptions, creating Shipping Instructions for shipments to Europe and Israel, auditing invoices, and working with Product teams to confirm Country of Origin information for parts in question.

Through the CAPA program I was able to be a part-time intern and student while I studied abroad in Dublin, Ireland. My position at Ingersoll Rand was on the Material Planning team where I worked with team members, as well as working by myself, to complete tasks that increased the efficiency of the entire team. Some of the work I did required me to learn new programs with the most important being Oracle R12. I completed tasks such as expediting orders, contacting suppliers about orders, updating tracking and forecasting spreadsheets, and resolving invoice issues.
