About Robert Ahlness

Libraries are the great equalizer. My passion for fundraising comes from my passion for the cause. Everyone has a library story, whether you realize it or not. I grew up in a small town where the library was the place for children to go and have the freedom to imagine and explore. Libraries have grown so much beyond what they were and are a fundamental fixture in all communities. There is no other organization that provides the same level of service all for FREE. We all know knowledge is power and at the library you have access to anything you could ever need, regardless of race, background or socioeconomic status.
