Responsible for contract management including budget, time, quality, safety, and other performance parameters. Project Management responsibility for multiple projects over a range of products and industries. Tender preparation from marketing through conceptual design, detailed design, plant sizing, full cost analysis, and generation of proposals. Project values ranging from 10 thousand to 50 Million Dollars.

BHP New Zealand Steel is a fully integrated Steel Mill producing steel products from iron sand and coal.As a technologist in the Iron Plant my duties included studying the chemistry of the iron making process and contributing to ongoing development and refinement of process and plant control. As a technologist in the Steel plant I was involved in the day to day running of the steel-making furnace and my role was to continuously improve the quality and reliability of the steel plant.
