Employed by ALG under contract to Virgin Australia for the installation of WI-FI system to B737-700 and -800 Aircraft. This involved the fitment of the electrical wiring, system configuration, testing and Disturb System Testing. I also gained experience with general line maintenance including specific replacement and testing. Virgin Australia worked on a pressing timetable. Employed as Senior Systems/Avionics Engineer, providing engineering support as Lead Avionics Engineer for the C130 AMP project and various avionics upgrades for AMMROC customers across the MENA region. During my time in the UAE I completed avionics and testing courses and used the knowledge gained to conduct workshops for the UAE Airforce for 16 different planes including: C130, C17, CN235, Piaggio Avanti II, King Air C90A, C90GT, C90GTi, Grob 115TA, PC 7, PC 21, A330 MRTT, Hawk, Macchi MB339, Air tractor, Ark Angel, AW139, Black Hawk.I was the key author of the AMMROC Avionics Systems Engineering and Software Policies. In addition to this I:• reviewed numerous technical documents (e.g. SB’s, SIL’s, and TM’s,AMM,CMM);• produced engineering instructions and reports; • conducted safety analysis; • ensured compliance and certification for test flights; and • assisted with reliability investigations for special projects. My avionics ability and knowledge enabled me to provide quick and safe engineering solutions to critical issues on the aircraft, thus reducing aircraft downtime and adverse costs associated with the aircraft being down.

I was employed by Hawker Pacific Australia, as an FSE on assignment, to assist Pilatus in supporting AMMROC UAE with providing PC-21 Avionic technical training to AMMROC’s workforce. I was responsible for: • Maintaining a high standard of maintenance for the newly established PC-21 squadron of the Airforce;• Supervising Avionics technicians on PC-21;• Producing structured on the job training packages for PC-21;• Project management of both schedule and unscheduled maintenance;• Providing technical advice to the AMMROC Maintenance team;• Providing direct feedback to the AMMROC Management team;• Working in direct contact with Pilatus Technical Representatives in fault finding, problem solving and assist when required;• Providing direct feedback to UAEAF personal when required: and• Maintaining a fleet of mission capable PC-21 Aircraft to meet training purposes.

Carry out Avionics Maintenance on Casa CN235, C-130E, C-130H, VC-130H KC-130H and L-100-30 Aircraft, which included a wide range of technical considerations and factors. In my role I instructed staff on avionics principles and systems associated with the aircrafts, undertook many fault-finding exercises, maintained the planes for test flights, and carried out quality assurance.
