DUTIES: Provide coordination and control of more than $70M in Special Purpose Munitions and Explosives (SPM&E); proactively prepare requests for large volume shipments of SPM&E; ensure that six companies of 700 personnel are equipped with authorized ammunition to meet long and short term operational objectives.Requisition And Inventory Control: Review, approve, and procure all class V ammunition inventory; authorize Operational Load (OPL) for Cartridge Activated Devices (CADS) and Propellant Activated Devices (PADS) using Unit Level Logistics System-Aviation (ULLS-A). Perform special studies related to the receipt, issuance, storage, and control of stock. Evaluate and approve subordinate unit ammunition requests for national and international requirements utilizing the Range and Ammo Request Automated Program. Create and execute effective action plans to maintain 100% control of inventory assets. 100% inventory control for two warehouse sites, managed the daily upload of ammunition using proper hazmat labeling configurations. Training And Development: Reference the Standards in Training Commission (STRAC) manual to develop and produce annual training and development requirements and authorizations. Review and coordinate monthly training schedules and forecasts for all subordinate units. Provide expertise in Battalion Training Ammunition Automated System operation to devise and produce monthly forecasts. Administrative Management: Organize and maintain essential records and documentation associated with training authorizations, Ammunition Basic Load (ABL) issues, and expenditures; expertly produce and post annual ABL documentation to the Battalion property book using Property Book Unit Supply Enhanced (PBUSE). Proactively review adjustments to records for accuracy and completeness.
