I’m an entrepreneurial and enthusiastic computer vision & deep learning expert with years of progressive experience in autonomous driving and brain network research. I’m excited about the opportunities emerging technologies offer to different fields and fulfill every opportunity of impacting consumers with state-of-the-art solutions.While doing my Master program with Texas A&M University, I authored a novel imaging technique called the Knife-Edge Scanning Microscopy to map micro blood vessels in mouse brains, which is currently used to build Google-like maps in other biological studies.Upon completion of my degree, I returned to Korea to join Hyundai Mobis R&D team and joined forces with autonomous driving brightest minds to design and launch the Reverse Parking Collision-Avoidance (PCA) Assist system. As a result of continuous improvement effort, the newest multi-object tracking, distance estimation, and object detection system underwent lens distortion correction, ground truth labeling, and automatic calibration to minimize risks for drivers, pedestrians, and vehicles. I’m a U.S. Green Card holder with research interests in the fields of computer vision, image processing, artificial intelligence, and advanced deep learning.
