Insurance professional with over 20 years of industry experience including: Sales Marketing & Distribution of all lines of Commercial Insurance both retail and wholesale. I have worked as an independent insurance broker in Hawaii where I was “head of house” for a large wholesale and retail brokerage. I have also recruited coached and trained independent and exclusive agents alike. Most recently I was with Farmers Insurance in Southern CA and Washington where I was a Commercial Wholesaler and Sales Coach field leader. Using my diverse background and experience I built many strong relationships with agency owners helping them meet their financial goals including, business planning, product training, sales training, systems training, recruiting and point of sale success. Farmers Insurance Group is a member of the Zurich of North America and is one of the largest writers of small commercial insurance in the country. In addition, I have spent 7 years with Wausau and Liberty Mutual Insurance, a fortune 100 company as a Territory Manager in California and Hawaii gaining valuing experience in middle market business including developing an expertise in workers compensation, I also served as Vice President and General Manager of Bishop Insurance of Hawaii, a 44-million-dollar brokerage delivering Property, Casualty Life and Health Products to business and individuals in the state of Hawaii. As “head of house” I gained valuable leadership experience in strategic planning, agency management, recruiting, training and sales and marketing.Prior to my Sales and Distribution path, I worked in Claims Litigation Management where a gained valuable experience in complex claim resolution, honing my negotiation and mediation skills along with gaining insurance coverage expertise.I also have a Bachelor of Science Degree from San Diego State and a JD degree from Thomas Jefferson, and I hold a Property Casualty and Life and Health broker licenses in WA, Oregon, CA, and Hawaii
