Develop and communicate sound accounting, compliance, and internal control procedures to ensure that all payment transactions are properly safeguarded, recorded and deposited. Manage the daily operations and staff in the Office of the Bursar. Facilitate a team-oriented work environment, operational efficiency and maximum productivity. Maintain current knowledge of state and federal regulations, and ensure compliance in billing, collections, and payment processing. Analyze outstanding receivables and bad debt, monitor collection activity, and reconcile subsidiary ledgers, journal entries, etc. Ensures exceptional customer service for students and colleagues, as well as external customers and vendors. Major Achievements: Developed and implemented strategies to streamline billing and collection of tuition and fee payments, third party and miscellaneous transactions. Ad Hoc report design and preparation, audit preparation.
