Robert is a Partner of Slate Asset Management and sits on Slate’s Investment Committee and is a member of its Management Committee. Robert has significant corporate finance, financial reporting and capital markets experience in both Canada and the United States. Robert oversees all financial matters concerning Slate’s various business vehicles and also has responsibility for Slate’s operations. Prior to joining Slate, Robert was a partner in the real estate practice of Deloitte LLP in Toronto, Canada, where he was also on the executive committee for the Toronto assurance practice and was Deloitte’s Canadian IPO leader. Prior to this, he worked at a global asset manager in various treasury, finance and financial reporting positions.
