As the Deputy Director of Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Access, I am committed to ensuring diversity and equal opportunity in all facets of state employment. With over 17 years of experience in the public sector, I have spearheaded the development and implementation of affirmative action and diversity plans and activities designed to eliminate discriminatory barriers in the workplace, remedy the effects of past discriminatory practices, and recruit, hire, develop, promote, and retain employees who are members of under-represented groups.While implementing DEIA initiatives established by the Office of Diversity and Equal Opportunity, I partner closely with Secretariat HR Business Partners, executive leadership in Labor Relations, and Legal teams to manage civil rights complaints.
