The only departments I didn't tackle here were Housekeeping and Maintenance (though I do know my way around a 40 year old Air system). I became proficient in the Opera system as a night Auditor. I also gained a great comprehention of Budgeting, and forecasting as I entered in the daily revenue in an excel template for the Corporate Office and also was responsible for entering bills into the expense checkbook. I moved to the restaurant as a host in an effort to increase their service scores, and was successful. Moved on to Banquets and Bar tending soon after that. I was born in raised in the F & B, so it wasn't all that difficult to prove myself.

I was a member of the Opening team at this hotel. I started as the Front Desk supervisor, and was responsible for writing and implementing checklists for each shift, as well as ensuring Guest Satisfaction. Service scores never dropped below commendable. I quickly became familiar with the building and moved inter-departmentally. First as Assistant Executive Housekeeper, responsible for insuring the quality of each room. Our team never got less than 96% on all of our QA inspections. Later I moved into Food and Beverage. With my Background it's always an inevitability.
